Them

Brave their hearts were
Strong-solid their will was
Mercenaries they might have been called
But strong battles they won
And their memories and names still remain
Fierce battles they fought
And many were slaughtered
Their strong spirits stood
And in vengeance their fought back
For those brothers in arms
Their swords and shields shone in daylight
Their fair hair waved in the wind brilliantly
And their stern faces showed no fear
for bravery compounded their constitution
and steel and protection were in their hearts.
lost was the hope of those against them,
since they knew they would fight no regular foe,
for those clad in old leather,
carrying powerful steel swords and shields would prevail.
would stand throughout time,
their hearts would prove well.
tall and proud they were and will be.
strength was in their veins,
and sands of time shall not run out,
for their memories and strength will remain.
